Want to Understand Your Dreams? - You Might Like This Non-Fiction Book Review

Have you ever wondered what your dreams mean? Did you know there is a whole science and industry behind the interpretation of dreams? As you know many people believe their dreams help them see through time. In other words people believe that they can see the future.

Throughout time mankind has philosophized about exactly what dreams are and how they relate to the events in our lives. Some say dreams are a way that help us cope with the stress of life and many neurologists and a neuroscientists believe that when our brain dreams, it is like a computer that the defrags all the data that has been input.

In other words, everything that happens to you during the day your brain at night when you dream converts it to memory, although it leaves out the things that are not important and this way your brain does not fill up with incessant and irrelevant information.

Now nobody knows for sure if this is true or not and all this is theory however, if you are wondering what your dreams mean then perhaps I can recommend a very good book to you;

"The Encyclopedia of Dreams; Symbols and Interpretations" by Rosemary Ellen Guiley; Berkeley Books, New York, NY; Date: 1995.

So, why did I like this book so much and why would I recommend it to you, you ask? Well, because this book explains what nightmares mean and it also breaks down each type of dream that you might have and what they mean, as well as the symbols in our dreams and how we should interpret them. I highly recommend this book to you.
